Casey Crowdsources - The Best One-Piece Swimsuits
The eight best one-piece swimsuits on the market according to you.
Welcome to Casey Crowdsources, where I get your feedback on the best brands and products. Last month, I asked for your advice on where to find the best one-piece swimsuit. Now that summer is here, we’re heading to the pool a lot, and I wanted to add a few new suits to my rotation.
As a mom, I like to wear one pieces for pool days with the kids. They stay in place, my sunscreen application is streamlined, and I can easily convert it into an outfit by adding shorts and a button-down shirt.
I was bombarded with DMs telling me about all your favorite brands. Here we go…

While I am showcasing all the above styles in black, almost all come in other colors and patterns! So be sure to click through and check out the other looks that each retailer offers.
By far the number one recommendation was Summersalt! I’m talking, 85% of my DMs were about this brand. They have regular and long torso options (that’s what I get) and their Sidestroke is a bestseller. If you are between sizes, size up for more booty coverage or take your smaller size if you prefer it to be more cheeky. Use code DIYPLAYBOOK10 for $10 off your purchase of $95 or more.
Your second suggestion was Andie’s Amalfi One Piece. For a streamlined look, this is a perfect option.
J. Crew offers multiple options and comes highly recommended. This suit is supposed to be “very flattering,” according to my DMs.
When I think of Athleta, I typically think of activewear, and didn’t realize how many swimsuits they make. If you’re looking for performance and style, this is a great choice.
CUPSHE is a new-to-me brand, and you love their tummy control styles. This halter style gives a hint of sexy without being too over the top for a pool day with the kids.
Your priciest recommendation was Stylest and I can see why. Their compressive Dreamsculpt suits offer the ultimate smoothing effect, plus they have belts and a puffed long-sleeve option if you want extra sun protection.
I usually get Rory’s special dresses from Mini Boden and was pleasantly surprised to check out their swimwear. I know their pieces are quality and think the ruching on this style is particularly flattering. They also offer a wide range of fun patterns and styles, beyond just black.
One of my favorite fashion and home brands, Quince, also came highly recommended. I haven't tried their swimwear yet, but after reading your reviews, I may need to add this one piece to my closet for the season! The price is so good…
Would love to know if you own any of these suits. Please give me your honest review in the comments below.
P.S. A few fun new items to share…
