Casey Crowdsources - Summer Sandals
I asked, you answered: These are the best summer sandals out there.

Welcome to Casey Crowdsources, where I tap into your brilliant recommendations for the best products out there. Last month, I asked for your favorite summer sandals, and wow, did you deliver.
With Chicago summer in full swing, I’ve been looking to add a few new styles to my rotation. While I usually live in sneakers to chase after the kids…pool days and nights out with friends have me reaching for sandals.
Your DMs came flooding in with brand after brand. Let’s get into the top picks…

While I am showcasing all the above styles in neutral colors, almost all come in other colors and styles! Be sure to click through and explore the other looks each retailer offers.
Your top recommendation by far was Reef sandals. I’m talking at least 60% of the messages came in raving about Reefs. These look ideal for their ease of sliding on and off. And that price point is so good!
If you are looking for a raffia sandal, this style by Steve Madden is perfect. With a platform, you gain a little height without sacrificing stability.
I own and love Sorel shoes. The quality is always top-notch, and their shoes last me many seasons. My sandals were a workhorse on my trip to Italy, and you all agree. These wedges would be great for a European trip and walking on cobblestone streets.
Another slide option, Rothy’s, also came highly recommended.
I recently added these to my closet and they’re so dreamy. I used to do ballet on pointe and tying these up brings me back to my dancing days! Margaux is definitely a bit pricier, but each pair of shoes is handmade in Spain and they’re extra luxurious. I mean, how chic are these sandals?!
When I saw people recommending Crocs, I was a little surprised. After checking out this specific style, I get the appeal. Waterproof shoes that don’t look like the classic Crocs…I can get on board with that!
Orthopedic brands like Vionic have really stepped it up lately, making cute, comfy shoes that younger folks actually want to wear. This metallic pair feels perfect for a beach vacation.
I love this multi-colored pair by Naot that has a minimal wedge for a hint of height. Wear them with all your best summer dresses.
This brand is new to me, but I’m loving the look of these Taos sandals—the gold chunky buckle adds just the right amount of style while still keeping things secure.
Birkenstock has been my go-to sandal brand for years. They’re comfortable, and the myriad styles offer chic colors and different looks. You all love these waterproof ones for pool and beach days. I may have to scoop up a pair to go with my one-piece swimsuits.
The Positano style by Margaux also came highly recommended. This one looks a little more secure since it isn’t a wrap and comes in a dressy gold that would be perfect for summer soirees.
I usually think of Teva’s from childhood, but the brand has evolved and has fresh styles and colors. This pair would be perfect for a day with lots of walking.
Would love to know if you own any of these sandals. Please give me your honest review in the comments below.
And have fun hitting your step count in style (and comfort) this summer!
I already own a couple of these but am excited to discover some new options too!
